Veteran singer Usha Uthup expressed her delight over the rehashed version of her iconic song Rambha Ho in the film Dhurandhar. She revealed in an interview with Radio Nasha that she was sent a link to the new version and was pleasantly surprised. “Wow! What is this! It’s fabulous,” she said, adding that she is happy to see another artist giving the classic song a fresh touch.

Uthup also praised the singer Madhuanti for her rendition and highlighted the enduring popularity of Rambha Ho, which has entertained audiences for over 40 years. She emphasized that the song is bigger than the singer and is grateful for its renewed appreciation, even though the filmmakers did not seek her prior blessings.

Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, and others, released last December. The sequel, Dhurandhar 2, is slated for March 19, promising more high-octane espionage action.

After a gap of 24 years, filmmaker Kuku Kohli’s romantic action thriller Yeh Dil Aashiqanaa is all set to return to cinemas on February 13, 2026. Originally released in 2002, the film starred Karan Nath and Jividha Sharma in lead roles and earned popularity for its music, emotions, and gripping storyline. Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming feature film starring Diljit Dosanjh has officially received a new release date. Earlier slated to hit theatres during the Baisakhi festival in April, the untitled film will now release on June 12, 2026. The announcement was made by the makers on Thursday, creating fresh buzz among fans of the filmmaker and the actor-musician duo.

Described as a “charming story of love and longing,” the film marks Imtiaz Ali and Diljit Dosanjh’s second collaboration after their widely appreciated 2024 Netflix release Amar Singh Chamkila. Sunny Deol’s Border 2, released on Republic Day, continues to dominate the box office. On Wednesday, the film earned ₹13 crore, taking its total domestic collection to ₹213 crore. Within just six days, the action-packed sequel comfortably crossed the ₹200 crore mark, showing strong audience response.

The film opened with ₹30 crore on Friday and saw its highest single-day collection of ₹59 crore on Monday, Republic Day. With steady growth through the weekend, including a 49% jump on Sunday, Border 2 has already surpassed the opening weekend numbers of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that the film maintained full ticket rates on weekdays while performing exceptionally well in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
