The Delhi International Film Festival (DIFF) 2026 is not just about global screenings—it is equally defined by its strong curatorial foundation and experienced jury, ensuring credibility and artistic excellence.

The festival, scheduled from May 4 to 8 at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts and Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, will showcase 173 films from over 60 countries, carefully selected across multiple categories including World Cinema, Indian Showcase, NRI Cinema, Documentaries, Shorts, and Animation.

The selection process has been led by noted film journalist Anurag Punetha, critic Pramod Kaunswal, and television personality Reema Dinesh Kapoor—ensuring a diverse yet meaningful representation of cinema from across the globe.

Presiding over the jury is Raman Chawla, bringing experience and insight into evaluating cinematic narratives that reflect both artistic merit and social relevance.

Festival Founder and President Ram Kishore Parcha emphasized that this year’s categories aim to highlight global cinematic contexts while fostering discussions on the relationship between cinema and society.
