Tu Yaa Main feels like two different films joined together without a smooth transition. The first half focuses on emotion, relationships, and social media culture, while the second half suddenly turns into a survival thriller. Both parts are well-directed and engaging on their own, but together they don’t fully blend. Still, Bejoy Nambiar’s confident direction keeps the film watchable and visually sharp.
The story follows influencers Avani Shah, also known as Miss Vanity, and Maruti Kadam, called Aala Flowpara. Coming from very different backgrounds, they meet at a music event and decide to collaborate. Their professional bond slowly turns into love, but pressure from Avani’s family creates conflict. A trip to Goa meant to fix things instead leads them into danger.
The survival sequence inside a deep pool with a crocodile is tense and gripping, but it feels disconnected from the emotional build-up. Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor deliver solid performances, ensuring the film remains engaging despite its uneven narrative.
