Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth Reunite After 40 Years

South Indian cinema is witnessing a historic moment as Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth reunite after more than four decades for director Nelson Dilipkumar’s upcoming film, tentatively titled KH x RK. The makers recently released a fun-filled promo that has already set social media buzzing.

The 3-minute-46-second promo begins with Nelson debating which room to enter first, before composer Anirudh Ravichander gives him a quirky solution. The video playfully shows Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth confused over their outfits, leading to a stylish reveal. With the catchy track “Aaja Raja” in the background, the legends walk out, confront each other, and later make a striking entry into a rustic garage, grabbing everyone’s attention.

Ending on a witty note, the stars leave fans curious by asking: who is the hero? Sharing the promo on X, Kamal Haasan called it a “special reunion,” promising an unforgettable cinematic chapter.

Jana Nayakan will not be released till April 30?

Fans of Vijay are once again left waiting as his much-awaited film Jana Nayagan faces another release hurdle. Canadian distributor York Cinemas has confirmed that the film will not hit theatres before April 30, pushing it further beyond its earlier schedule.

The update was shared through York Cinemas’ official social media handle, sparking confusion among fans. The film had earlier missed its planned January 9, 2026 release, which was timed around the Pongal festival. The distributor’s brief note did not announce a new date, but clearly stated that audiences should not expect the film anytime soon.

The delay is reportedly due to production setbacks and pending certification from the Central Board of Film Certification. Despite the disappointment, fans can revisit Vijay’s hit Theri, which is set for a theatrical re-release on February 20.
