Madhya Pradesh Mahotsav’ Celebrated with Grandeur in Bengaluru

AThe four-day “Madhya Pradesh Mahotsav,” organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board at the Art of Living International Center in Bengaluru, magnificently showcased the rich culture, spirituality, and art of Madhya Pradesh. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who uplifted the program’s spirit with his presence. He assessed the exhibitions set up by the Tourism and Culture Department and addressed thousands of attendees, praising the state of Madhya Pradesh and its Chief Minister for their commendable efforts.
Ms. Bidisha Mukherjee, Additional Managing Director, of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, remarked, “This platform has undoubtedly been an exceptional opportunity to highlight Madhya Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage. The Tourism Department organized diverse exhibitions, promoting outreach, films, investment, and rural tourism, and also showcased handicrafts such as the Mrignayanee Emporium. Additionally, food stalls representing the state’s six regions offered a new culinary experience each day with unique dishes.”
The festival also featured local artworks from the state. Additionally, tourists explored opportunities for investment and film production in Madhya Pradesh. Exhibitions of famous Gond and Bhil paintings, Zari-Zardozi embroidery, and Chanderi silk attracted significant attention. Visitors also relished traditional delicacies such as Indrahar, Mawa Bati, Bhutte ki Kees, and Ragi Balushahi at the food stalls.
