Yeh Dil Aashiqanaa To Re-Release

After a gap of 24 years, filmmaker Kuku Kohli’s romantic action thriller Yeh Dil Aashiqanaa is all set to return to cinemas on February 13, 2026. Originally released in 2002, the film starred Karan Nath and Jividha Sharma in lead roles and earned popularity for its music, emotions, and gripping storyline. The re-release is being handled by True Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., bringing back the nostalgia for old fans and introducing the film to a new generation.

Director Kuku Kohli shared that the film was made specifically for the big screen, with its scale, music, and emotions meant to be experienced collectively in theatres. He expressed happiness that today’s young audience will get a chance to enjoy the film the way viewers did two decades ago.

SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited action epic Varanasi has officially locked its theatrical release date. The film, starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran, will hit cinemas worldwide on April 7, 2027. Imtiaz Ali–Diljit Dosanjh Film Gets New Release Date

Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming feature film starring Diljit Dosanjh has officially received a new release date. Earlier slated to hit theatres during the Baisakhi festival in April, the untitled film will now release on June 12, 2026. The announcement was made by the makers on Thursday, creating fresh buzz among fans of the filmmaker and the actor-musician duo.

Described as a “charming story of love and longing,” the film marks Imtiaz Ali and Diljit Dosanjh’s second collaboration after their widely appreciated 2024 Netflix release Amar Singh Chamkila. The new project also features Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari in key roles and promises a contemporary, witty narrative that explores deep human connections. Sunny Deol’s Border 2, released on Republic Day, continues to dominate the box office. On Wednesday, the film earned ₹13 crore, taking its total domestic collection to ₹213 crore. Within just six days, the action-packed sequel comfortably crossed the ₹200 crore mark, showing strong audience response.

The film opened with ₹30 crore on Friday and saw its highest single-day collection of ₹59 crore on Monday, Republic Day. With steady growth through the weekend, including a 49% jump on Sunday, Border 2 has already surpassed the opening weekend numbers of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that the film maintained full ticket rates on weekdays while performing exceptionally well in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

On its fifth day, the film has collected around Rs. 22 crore, pushing its total to Rs. 215 crore. Industry experts say the film is on track to cross Rs. 250 crore by the end of its first week, proving its massive appeal among audiences.

The film’s success has encouraged the makers to announce the third installment of the franchise. Single-screen theaters across mass belts are witnessing record-breaking occupancies, while multiplexes contribute around 45 percent of the collections through chains like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.
