The makers of Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 have officially announced its theatrical release date. Headlined by Avinash Tiwary and Medha Shankr, the romantic comedy is scheduled to hit cinemas on April 24, 2026. Positioned as a light-hearted family entertainer, the film promises a fresh love story while retaining the charm and humour that made the first part popular.

Described as a mismatched romance, the sequel revolves around two individuals from completely different worlds—a tough wrestler and a free-spirited young woman. The recently released first-look poster hints at chaos, confusion and heartfelt moments as their lives collide, moving from a wrestling arena to a wedding mandap with playful energy and situational comedy.

Backed by Zee Studios and Soundrya Production, the film features a strong supporting cast including Lillete Dubey and Govind Namdev. Directed by Prasshant Jha, Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 aims to be a breezy, feel-good summer watch for family audiences.

Bollywood actors Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam are all set to share the screen for the first time in their upcoming romantic drama Haq. The makers recently unveiled the song ‘Kubool’, giving fans a glimpse of their heartfelt chemistry. Released under Junglee Music, the song is composed by Vishal Mishra, known for his soulful romantic tracks. Kubool beautifully captures the essence of love, emotions, and simplicity — offering a touching preview of the film’s emotional depth.

The lyrics of Kubool are penned by Kaushal Kishore, and Armaan Khan lends his melodious voice to the song. The film’s music album promises more heart-touching songs like Dil Tod Gaya Tu and others that will be released soon.

Talking about the song, Emraan Hashmi shared, “When music becomes the soul of a film, it leaves a lasting impact. Kubool does exactly that.” Yami Gautam added, “The song speaks through silence and eyes — expressing love, pain, and longing.” Directed under the banner of Junglee Pictures, Insomnia Films, and Baweja Studios, Haq is set to hit theatres on November 7.
