Filmmaker Siddharth Anand has ignited excitement among fans after sharing a cryptic post on social media, fuelling speculation about the release date announcement of his upcoming film King. The project marks Siddharth Anand’s reunion with Shah Rukh Khan after the blockbuster Pathaan, making it one of the most anticipated Bollywood films in recent times. While the filmmaker did not reveal details, fans believe an official update could be coming soon.

According to report the makers are reportedly eyeing Christmas 2026 for King’s release. The move is said to be strategic, aimed at avoiding a box-office clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s ambitious epic Ramayana, which also stars Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol and others. However, no formal confirmation has been made by the makers or the cast so far.

Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 Gets U/A 16+ Certificate

Rani Mukerji’s much-awaited Mardaani 3 has cleared the censor board with a U/A 16+ certificate. The film’s approved runtime is 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 36 seconds, making it the longest in the franchise. The first half runs for 1 hour 6 minutes, while the second half is 1 hour 4 minutes. Fans can now look forward to more action and drama without age restrictions.

The previous films in the series were shorter. Mardaani (2014) was 1 hour 53 minutes and had an ‘A’ rating, while Mardaani 2 (2019) was 1 hour 43 minutes and also U/A. This makes Mardaani 3 the first film of the series to cross the 2-hour mark, attracting a wider audience, especially young viewers.

Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the thriller features Rani Mukerji as fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy, joined by Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad in a race against time to rescue missing girls.

The makers of Border 2 have released the film’s third song, “Jaate Hue Lamhon,” which brings back the emotional essence of a beloved track from the original Border. The original song, “Ae Jaate Hue Lamhon,” was composed by Anu Malik, sung by Roop Kumar Rathod, and written by Javed Akhtar. It featured Sunil Shetty as Bhairav Singh, bidding an emotional farewell to his newlywed wife before heading to the battlefield.

In Border 2, the makers have retained the same heartfelt lyrics by Javed Akhtar but refreshed the song with a new musical treatment.
