“Kalki 2898 AD,” starring Prabhas, has made a significant mark at the box office, grossing over Rs 1,000 crore (approximately $120 million) worldwide. It is now the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and ranks as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time​.

The film was released on June 27, 2024, and achieved remarkable success, with an opening weekend collection exceeding Rs 175 crore globally. It grossed around Rs 646 crore net in India, with approximately Rs 275 crore from overseas markets, bringing its total worldwide collection to approximately Rs 1,042 crore​.

“Kalki 2898 AD” also made history by surpassing other notable films at the box office, becoming the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of all time​. Its success is attributed to strong performances in various languages, particularly in Hindi, where it outperformed its original Telugu version.
