Bobby Deol has revealed the striking first look from his upcoming film Bandar, creating strong buzz among moviegoers. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film is set for a theatrical release on May 22 after its world premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival. At the box office, Bandar will clash with Milap Zaveri’s Tera Yaar Hoon Main, promising a competitive release window.

Bandar features an ensemble cast including Sanya Malhotra and Saba Azad alongside Deol. The first official poster presents a close-up of Bobby’s face, visually divided between two contrasting worlds, hinting at a layered and intense narrative. The film draws inspiration from real-life events, navigating moral ambiguities and the misuse of legal provisions.

Speaking to Variety, Kashyap shared that the idea stemmed from a newspaper article handed to him by producer Nikhil Dwivedi, emphasizing his interest in diverse, challenging stories. Meanwhile, Bobby’s brother Sunny Deol is also in the spotlight, with his film Gabru expected to release on May 8, adding to a big month for the Deol family.
