Kiara Advani Not Cast as Madhubala in her Biopic

Recent reports claiming that Kiara Advani would play the legendary Madhubala in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali-produced biopic have been debunked. An industry source confirmed that these claims are completely baseless and speculative. The much-anticipated project is still in early development, with no official casting announcements made.

The biopic is set to be directed by Jasmeet K. Reen, known for her debut film Darlings, which starred Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, and Vijay Varma. While fans were excited to hear Kiara’s name attached, she is not involved in the project. Kiara was last seen in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR and will next appear in Toxic: A FairyTale for GrownUps.

Madhubala, a celebrated icon of 1950s Indian cinema, starred in classics like Mughal-e-Azam and Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi. Despite her early death at 36 due to a congenital heart defect, she remains a timeless figure in Bollywood history.

Bollywood’s Big Dream: Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir Khan Tease Possible Collaboration at Joy Summit

Bollywood’s biggest superstars — Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan — recently shared the stage at the Joy Summit in Saudi Arabia, reigniting fans’ hopes of seeing them together in one film.

During a panel discussion, the moderator asked Salman about a dream project that could become a massive hit in Saudi Arabia. Salman replied that any good Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam film could do well, adding that the script would be the true star if the three Khans ever worked together.

Shah Rukh humorously added that bringing all three of them together would be a “beautiful dream,” not a “nightmare,” but also joked that no one could afford them — not just financially, but in terms of coordinating their schedules and creative energies.

Aamir, too, had previously revealed at the 2024 Red Sea Film Festival that the trio had discussed the idea of a joint project. He emphasized that it would be a “sad thing” if the three never worked together and that they were waiting for the perfect script.

While no project has been confirmed yet, the three Khans have made it clear — they are ready, the world just needs the right story.
