The film opened with ₹30 crore on Friday and saw its highest single-day collection of ₹59 crore on Monday, Republic Day. With steady growth through the weekend, including a 49% jump on Sunday, Border 2 has already surpassed the opening weekend numbers of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that the film maintained full ticket rates on weekdays while performing exceptionally well in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

The makers of Border 2 have released the film’s third song, “Jaate Hue Lamhon,” which brings back the emotional essence of a beloved track from the original Border. The original song, “Ae Jaate Hue Lamhon,” was composed by Anu Malik, sung by Roop Kumar Rathod, and written by Javed Akhtar.
