Legendary actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 89. To honor his life and illustrious career, the Deol family organized a prayer meet on November 27 at Seaside Lawns, Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The event saw the presence of family members, industry friends, and fans paying their respects. Singer Sonu Nigam is expected to perform some of Dharmendra’s evergreen songs, making the evening a memorable tribute.

The prayer meet brought together the entire Deol family, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol, Ahana Deol, and other close relatives. Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra, Amrita Rao with her sister Malaika Arora, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty with his family, and Sharman Joshi also attended to pay homage to the veteran actor. Bollywood’s iconic actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89, leaving the film industry and millions of fans in deep sorrow. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for treatment and was later shifted home, where his condition continued to deteriorate. On Monday, 24 November 2025, Dharmendra breathed his last.

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who is set to return to the big screen with her upcoming film Itha’, has suffered an injury during a Lavani dance sequence, forcing the production to pause. According to reports, the actress lost her balance while performing high-tempo steps composed by Ajay–Atul. Wearing a bright nauvari saree and heavy traditional jewellery, Shraddha accidentally put her full weight on her left foot, resulting in a toe fracture.

Following the incident, director Laxman Utekar immediately stopped the shoot, though Shraddha suggested continuing with close-up scenes to avoid delays. The team resumed filming emotional scenes at Mumbai’s Mud Island, but her pain increased, leading to another halt. Doctors have advised her to rest until the fracture heals properly.

The film crew will regroup after two weeks once Shraddha fully recovers. ‘Itha’ is a biographical drama based on the life of renowned dancer, actor, and Tamasha artist Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, with Shraddha portraying her younger version.
