The wedding of cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal has been postponed due to the serious health condition of Smriti’s father. However, soon after the announcement, social media was flooded with allegations claiming that Palash cheated on Smriti. A user shared alleged private chat screenshots on Reddit accusing Palash of betrayal. Although the account was later deleted, the screenshots went viral, intensifying controversy and spreading speculation.

Amid these claims, Palash’s cousin Niti Tak has stepped forward in his support. In an Instagram story, she urged people not to judge Palash without knowing the truth. Niti revealed that Palash is currently in a very critical medical condition and requested everyone to pray for him instead of believing rumours. She wrote that technology is advanced and misleading information can easily spread, so people should avoid forming opinions without facts.

The couple was scheduled to marry on November 23, but the ceremony was halted after Smriti’s father, Srinivas Mandhana, was rushed to the hospital with heart-related symptoms. A day later, Palash also fell seriously ill due to extreme stress and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. His mother later confirmed that while medical tests were normal, his stress levels were dangerously high. The family has appealed to fans and media to respect their privacy and refrain from spreading unverified claims.
