Border 2 Collects total to Rs. 215 crore

Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty’s Border 2 continues to dominate the box office in India. On its fifth day, the film has collected around Rs. 22 crore, pushing its total to Rs. 215 crore. Industry experts say the film is on track to cross Rs. 250 crore by the end of its first week, proving its massive appeal among audiences.

The film’s success has encouraged the makers to announce the third installment of the franchise. Single-screen theaters across mass belts are witnessing record-breaking occupancies, while multiplexes contribute around 45 percent of the collections through chains like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.

Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Border 2 has set a strong start for 2026. The film is now aiming for Rs. 300 crore in its second weekend, and eyes the Rs. 400–500 crore club in the coming weeks.

Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 Gets U/A 16+ Certificate

Rani Mukerji’s much-awaited Mardaani 3 has cleared the censor board with a U/A 16+ certificate. The film’s approved runtime is 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 36 seconds, making it the longest in the franchise. The first half runs for 1 hour 6 minutes, while the second half is 1 hour 4 minutes. Fans can now look forward to more action and drama without age restrictions.

The previous films in the series were shorter. Mardaani (2014) was 1 hour 53 minutes and had an ‘A’ rating, while Mardaani 2 (2019) was 1 hour 43 minutes and also U/A. This makes Mardaani 3 the first film of the series to cross the 2-hour mark, attracting a wider audience, especially young viewers.

Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the thriller features Rani Mukerji as fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy, joined by Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad in a race against time to rescue missing girls.
