Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan’s war drama Border 2 has taken the box office by storm. In just four days since its release, the film has sailed past the Nears ₹250 crore mark globally. The movie, featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty alongside Sunny, enjoyed a bumper Republic Day weekend, thanks to strong word of mouth and audience appreciation.

The film opened with ₹30 crore net on day one despite some show cancellations and kept rising over the weekend. On Republic Day, the fourth day, it collected ₹59 crore domestically, pushing its India net collection to ₹180 crore (₹212.5 crore gross).

Border 2 has already beaten the lifetime collections of hits like Sikandar and Raid 2. With its current pace, the film is on track to reach ₹300 crore soon, making it one of Bollywood’s biggest releases of 2026.

Anil Kapoor’s Nayak 2 gets producer’s approval

Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor has ruled the film industry for decades with his powerful performances and memorable films. It is worth noting that the original Nayak was produced by A.S. Rathnam, but the rights are now with Deepak Mukut. Earlier, Mukut had also revealed that the script of Nayak 2 is ready and preliminary preparations have been completed. 3 Idiots 2’ Confirmed: Script Ready, Shoot Begins in 2026

Nearly 15 years ago, the blockbuster film 3 Idiots won millions of hearts with its iconic dialogue “All is well.” Starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor, the film became a cult classic, admired for its humor, emotional depth and strong message. Now, fans have a reason to celebrate—reports confirm that the much-awaited sequel, 3 Idiots 2, is officially in development. Director Rajkumar Hirani has reportedly been working on the script for a long time, and it is now complete. Shooting is expected to begin in 2026.
