Punjabi star Shehnaaz Gill on Thursday revealed the first poster of her upcoming film Ishqnama, calling it a “true story of true lovers.” Sharing the announcement on social media, the actress confirmed that the film will release in cinemas worldwide on 24 July 2026. The movie is based on the real-life love story of Nimma and Nasima.

The poster gives a powerful glimpse into the emotional world of Ishqnama. In one visual, Shehnaaz is seen embracing an injured Jayy Randhawa, portraying pain, strength, and deep devotion amid conflict. Another image shows her in a traditional Punjabi bridal look, reflecting old-world charm. The romantic drama is set against the sensitive backdrop of India and Pakistan relations.

Shehnaaz Gill was last seen in Ikk Kudi and rose to fame with Bigg Boss 13. With films like Honsla Rakh and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Ishqnama adds another promising chapter to her career.
