In the released images, Anjali is seen dressed in a saffron saree, holding a basket of fruits, portraying Sita during her exile period. Another still shows her posing alongside actor Dev Sharma, who plays Lord Ram. However, many internet users have reacted sharply, questioning the casting decision.
Netizens argue that a personality like Anjali Arora—who has been involved in several online controversies, including a rumored MMS scandal—should not portray a revered mythological figure.
